The Electronic Communications Accessibility Team (eCAT) is leading the bank towards a competitive digital experience for ALL of our customers by first achieving standards and regulatory conformance and then adding innovative, accessible features & services.
Position Overview: As an accessibility data analyst, you will review, compile and maintain data sourced from many Digital teams and systems of record to assist eCAT in managing the accessibility pipeline, track and analyze controls checkpoints, and identify and report on trends.  You will update data records with project impacts, estimates, resource assignments & capacity constraints. You will coordinate the flow of incoming work to specified resources and maintain a JIRA work queue.  You will document procedural flows and identify areas for process improvement.   You will update SharePoint sites.  Your contributions are essential to keep systems of record evergreen and will help ensure eCAT is meeting its controls obligations.

  • Have excellent project management and organizational skills and be able to work collaboratively and productively with diverse teams as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Possess a strong command of the English language in written and verbal communications.
  • Have broad electronic communications accessibility knowledge, UI development and design experience, compassion, and organizational abilities.
  • Have a desire to improve the experience people with disabilities have when encountering any form of electronic communications JP Morgan Chase provides.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead comprehensive analysis efforts to operationalize reporting to make sure all projects on long-term strategic platforms launch accessibly.
  • Lead efforts to strengthen existing controls in our product development lifecycle process (PDLC).
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure requirements and solution approaches are appropriate.
  • Analyze projects and other accessibility initiatives to determine demand and manage capacity appropriately.
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital program management with an end-to-end understanding of product development methodologies and hands-on experience in an Agile environment.
  • Effective decision-maker who drives activities, analyzes information, prioritizes tasks, and provides sound recommendations regarding process improvements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-disciplinary and geographically dispersed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner to senior stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines.
  • Related assistive technology knowledge and / or experience with JAWS, NVDA, and/or other assistive technologies a plus.
  • Knowledge of US ADA, Section 508, and W3C WCAG 2.0 standards.
  • Experience related to Internet or mobile usability/accessibility research.
  • B.S. or Master’s Degree in information technology, human computer interaction, or related field considered an advantage. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel a must including pivot tables, charts, calculations, V look-up, Macros and VBA.
  • Proven database tool experience (SQL or MS Access).
  • JIRA, Confluence or SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and with or without direction is imperative.
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies is required.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
