The group is made up of roughly 100 employees performing support functions for the Front and Middle Office groups that are located in New York, NY and Columbus, Ohio. Functions in Investment Management Operations include Portfolio Services, Cash Operations, Reconciliations, Fee Billing and Reporting.

Chase Wealth Management (CWM) and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. Broker Dealer Support Services provide middle office support to over 5,000 licensed representatives such as financial advisors, investment specialists and licensed bankers. This support consists of processing disbursements from brokerage accounts due to death.
As a Sr. Investment Servicing II Specialist in Estate Processing, you will be required to work closely with personal representatives, legal entities, beneficiaries and licensed representatives along with our internal partners to facilitate beneficiary distributions from a retail brokerage or CWM retirement account. This job includes reviewing deceased client documents such as court appointments, small estate affidavits, death certificates, affidavits of domiciles, tax waivers, etc. ensuring that the authorized individual handling the decedent’s account has complied with estate distribution requirements. The candidate would make use of brokerage account information and established policy and procedures to communicate document requirements, and confer with executors, Advisors, Licensed Bankers to provide guidance for satisfying requirements. Other responsibilities include requesting liquidations and calculating payouts as needed. A strong understanding of the securities industry is recommended, operational experience and prior legal or estate processing experience is a plus.
- Prefer 1+ years of financial services operations experience. Preferably with experience in roles that require reviewing documents and following workflow processes.
Brokerage industry experience preferred
