About the Role and project

 

Asset Management (AM) technology team has embarked on implementing operations end user process automation through Robotics Process Automation (RPA) for achieving business efficiencies. We are seeking a hands-on automation expert with minimum 10 years of end to end experience for process automation to lead the Robotics Automation Engineering team.
The candidate will work closely with an experienced group of professionals across automation, business & controls and will be responsible for leading team of automation engineers.
The individual will need to take complete ownership of process evaluation, requirement gathering, solution designing and delivering automation solution through scripting while working with the team and other stakeholders.
The candidate should be hands-on and capable of scripting to help team members in case of issues.
The candidate will be responsible to prioritizing backlog, defining scope, estimating, and managing the team(s) responsible for the development and implementation of Automation projects.
The person will be responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. This person will also ensure team and associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines

This candidate will be expected to possess both a technical and financial domain skills and should also have strong communication, analytical skills and prior leadership experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         End to End ownership of Asset Management Robotic Process automation and leading a team of automation engineers

·         Develop Application Level Understanding for the applications in scope for process automation.

·         Architect, design and develop most optimum solution for given use case

·         Manage Automation Deliveries including capacity planning, schedule, quality, deployments

·         Infrastructure and business delivery demand management

·         Manage work allocation to Automation team. Script and perform review

·         Create and approve production release implementation plan

·         Represent Robotics at Change Management and ITSM meetings - monitor cross impacts

·         Manage Risk & Control requirements for Robotics - as a Tech Platform

·         Set, maintain and ensure adherence to Automation Good Practices within Robotics CoE

·         Manage Tech refresh and Infra requirements for Robotics

·         Manager L2 & L3 support of the bots and Lead Production trouble shooting and manage Robotics CoE response to incidents

·         Partner with other technology teams, business users, control and cyber security teams to ensure appropriate controls & security

 

Qualifications and Skills     

 

·         Minimum 10 years of overall hands-on technology experience across Java

·         Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills

·         Expertise in process evaluation

·         Prior experience of leading robotic automation projects & teams and managing business stakeholders

·         Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.

·         Must be result oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

·         Expert in Robotic process automation solutions such as WinAutomation, ProcessRobot, Automation Anywhere or BluePrism

·         6+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, PL/SQL, XML

·         4+ years of experience in.NET including C#, VB.NET

·         In-depth knowledge about Design and architect web based solutions

·         Strong in documentation, requirement gathering, and providing trainings

·         Strong in Oracle, MSSQL database development including PL/SQL and DBMS packages

·         Testing Concepts & Methodologies.

·         Requirement Analysis & Automated Test Case Creation

  • Financial Services Domain knowledge - Equity/Fixed Income Product Knowledge, Securities Trade and Position Management, Reconciliation knowledge
