About Financial Information Reporting Solutions & Internal Reporting:
 
Global Financial Information Reporting Solutions (FIRS) was established to define and deliver target end state operating model and technology requirements to strategically source data required for both internal and external reporting, and assist in positioning the firm to better respond to changing regulatory environments and internal demand requests.  As part of FIRS, the Firmwide Forecasting Framework Support Services team is focused on providing environmental readiness (fit-for-use), data quality and enrichment, and enhanced reporting and analysis for the Firmwide Forecasting Framework.
 
Role Description:
 
The Firmwide Forecasting Framework Support Services Operations Analyst will be responsible for providing operational support and analysis for the Firmwide Forecasting Framework. The Analyst will coordinate efforts with the North America based team to provide seamless execution of operational processes to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will take ownership of operational processes, execute and delivery day-to-day tasks, coordinate with global team members, and provide deliverables within established Service Level Agreements.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Analysis & Integrity:  Understand process workflow, data flow, application design, and financial forecasting concepts in order to troubleshoot issues and ensure forecast execution is complete and accurate.
  • Issue Monitoring, Tracking, and Resolution:  Ownership and oversight of incident tracking on a daily basis including driving enforcement of governance.   Prepare root cause analysis, identify areas for process improvement, and implement steps to reduce occurrences. This process includes identifying, explaining, and assessing key performance metrics.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders of the Strategic Forecasting Program including LOB partners, model developers, application development, technology production support, and offshore support teams.
  • Project Support: Participation in PLC, supporting business requirement gathering, proof of concept, design specification, operating model considerations, testing and implementation activities.
  • Data Sourcing:  Interaction with data provider surrounding SLA enforcement, issue resolution, error research, data reconciliation, etc.
  • Inquiry/Issue: Identify and implement steps to reduce inquiry/issue occurrence and manage the monthly reconciliation process between controlling systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and lead process improvements on a continual basis.
Education:
  • CA/CPA/CFA/MBA Finance/Accounting/Management Information Systems from a premier institute with minimum 3 plus  years of experience,
  • Graduate in Commerce/Finance with minimum 2 plus years of relevant experience
Experience:
  • Experience working with a global team an advantage
  • Experience in accounting and financial analysis will be an advantage
  • Technical experience with data analysis software (Python, Linux, MS Access, etc.) is a plus
Skill Sets:
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with tight timelines while keeping key senior stakeholders and technology and operations partners appropriately updated
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Very strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast moving environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Candidate should be flexible with shift timings
