The Corporate Responsibility (CR) department is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s CR agenda and initiatives by crafting goals, policies and initiatives that align with and support the firm’s business strategies and operational objectives and support the communities where we do business. The CR department comprises Global Philanthropy, Government Relations, Office of Nonprofit Engagement, Global Engagement, Sustainable Finance, and the JPMC Institute.
JPMorgan Chase’s Global Government Relations team represents the firm before governments around the globe and before the federal, state and local governments in the US. We focus on legislative issues impacting the firm, supporting business development with government clients and promoting the firm as a responsible corporate citizen.
The Government Relations and Corporate Responsibility Intern will assist in the execution of research, development and distribution of materials and organizing events related to various GR and CR objectives. The position will be located in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following:
Research and track legislation and regulatory actions.
General online research.
Attend internal and external meetings/events.
Provide program administrative support.
As time permits, assist with Government Relations and Corporate Responsibility projects and initiatives.
Assist with creating and editing presentations in PowerPoint.
Assist with the management of various data in Excel.
Some local travel may be required.
