The MB Business Analyst II is responsible for developing SSRS Reporting within Mortgage Banking MIS and in partnership with other JPMC lines of business. Develop, test, and produce complex analytical reports utilizing the tool set for SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) to assist the business in meeting operational objectives.  Maintain, launch and evaluate reports on a recurring basis.   Work with less seasoned analysts and business partners to lead in developing reporting.  Partner with business contacts to develop and document requirements for operational reports and assist in analyzing requirements and results for operations.  Work independently to deliver on reporting requests and prepare requests for highly technical coding and program processes.  Perform a lead role capacity to coach and mentor less seasoned analysts in performing reporting duties. Analytical capability to mine data, interpret results, identify drivers and exceptions, as well as communicate these findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • 2+ years of experience working within SQL Server or other database environment.
  • 2+ years of experience building SSRS Reports preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required relating to Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering.
  • Previous experience in designing an end to end Business Intelligence solution within SQL Server or other similar environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Detail oriented with well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business questions and needs
  • Must possess the ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues
