As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world
 
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems 
Working proficiency in automation toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Expertise in Banking domain

The Performance Testing Engineer will be responsible for –
  • Executing end to end performance tests and analysis
  • Analyse the application testing requirement like workload, SLA and volume, test env etc. information
  • Develop test scripts based upon business requirements and processes
  • Test application performance delivered across applications and workflows
  • Analyse the testing results, prepare the test report, provide recommendations and able to demonstrate to the stakeholders
  • Willingness to work from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST to overlap with US team working hours.
 
Qualifications:
  • A college degree or equivalent  ( B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A)
  • 4-8 years of proven, strong experience with performance testing, HP Load Runner and JMeter/BlazeMeter, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases
  • Able to analyse the requirement of complex application/system and come up with right strategies
  • Advanced skills in writing Load Runner and JMeter scripts
  • Knowledge of C or Java programming language
  • Experience with performance diagnostic tools such as AppDynamics or Dynatrace
  • Experience in tuning and profiling of Java or .NET applications
  • Experience in JVM framework monitoring and tuning
  • Experience in Thread Dump, Heap Dump Analysis using any open source or licensed tools.
  • Good communication and technical documentation skills
  • Experience in gathering performance testing requirements, determining what needs to be tested and why, and creating test plan to implement.
  • Experience in analysing and understanding application eco-system and performance test results, and identify problem areas and monitoring needs.
  • Capable of executing adaptive tests based upon intermediate findings to help trouble shoot and isolate application performance issues.
  • Capable of performance testing from end to end independently and being a team player at the same time.
  • Java or .NET developer experience is a plus
  • Experience of SQL databases like Oracle or SQL Server or My SQL and AWR report analysis would be a plus
  • Experience working in Agile software development environment

  • A good listener and should be able to articulate ideas verbally and in writing to global teams in an efficient way.
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with teams having diverse work cultures & skill sets.
