Business Overview & Role Description:

The Global Custody Production Management function is responsible for the support of all technology platforms used by the Custody business around the world. The Global Head of this function is responsible for building and maintaining a global organisation of highly technical, business aware, appplication support professionals.


Responsibilities include technical support of the production applications and infrastructure supporting the Custody business as well as being accountable for the follow-the-sun support for client calls, incidents, issues, and business continuity activities. The role requires a self- motivated individual with deep business knowledge and experience of Custody and many years of hands-on Production Management experience with back office systems. In addition to driving resolution of day-to-day issues, major incidents, and outages to resolution, the Global Head will work hand-in-hand with application development, infrastructure, implementation teams & various senior business stakeholders across Custody and Funds services. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, able to multi task in a fast moving environment as well as a proactive approach to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outage.


In addition, this individual will act as the EMEA Lead for Investor Services Production Management, additionally covering Prime Services and Collateral Managements systems in region.


Key Responsibilities and Typical Duties include the following:


  • Manage and resolve day-to-day production support issues for a number of applications that support Custody processing throughout the world

  • Incident and problem management

  • Monitor production activities/processes to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to internal and external stakeholders

  • Resource management and provision of leadership/oversight to the team.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members, end users and senior stake holders

  • Be responsible for Resiliency activites at an application and business flow level

  • Work with other Technology colleagues around client onboarding, business expansion and system changes
