Research is an important component of the firm's equity franchise. Research analysts serve two different "client" constituencies in their career: J.P. Morgan's institutional investor clients and internal personnel from sales and trading who leverage our analysts' research and industry/sector expertise. This capability supports an outstanding network of relationships with corporate and institutional clients that lie at the heart of our Corporate & Investment Bank franchise.
The US Equity Research Product Marketing desk is a part of the US Research Department and serves as the key link between sales, sales trading, trading and the research analysts. The desk also serves as a liaison between the investment bank's Research analysts and the Private Client Services group. The main responsibilities of the desk include: creating, managing and executing the daily research call and morning packet, coordinating analyst marketing events and conference calls, highlighting research analyst ideas to the sales force, connecting relevant themes across different geographies and departments to add value to the sales force and ultimately the firm's institutional clients. Job opening is for an Analyst on the desk. Undergraduate degree needed.
The ideal candidate will combine top-notch communication and quantitative skills. This is a highly demanding role and the Analyst is expected to deliver in an intense environment. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience, must be adaptable, have the ability to work well under pressure. Intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic, an interest in equity markets and a team player mentality are desired attributes.
