Roles & Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives
The Assets Held Away function is responsible for servicing the assets which are held with a custodian other than JPM. This includes onboarding new assets, delivering existing assets, classification of assets in the correct operational codes and ensuring timely updates of prices for these assets.
Requesting updates to the price, price date and/or market value of AHE positions based on supporting documentation submitted in workstation, via email or postal mail from 3rd party or via web portal access.
Posting of unit adjustments (addition or deletion) for AHE positions in OMNI based on backup supplied by 3rd party via Workstation, email or postal mail from 3rd party or via web portal access.
Requesting creation of new CUSIPS.
Updating Memo Post Holding List on regular basis
Preparing Stale Data and contact the Fund Admin/Fund House/Client Service Group for missing client statements.
Research assets by reviewing documents in workstation to ensure they belong to the trust / Client.
Ensure the assets are listed under correct security class code (SCC) and Registration Code (Reg Code)
Suggest correct SCC and REG code in case the assets are incorrectly listed
Process transactions/send request to Data Management and Pricing team to correct/update SCC/Reg code post approval from the appropriate business group (Trust Officer/Admin, CSG or IRA Team)
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Ø College Degree
Ø 4+ years of Banking / Cash Product / Securities / Processing experience in financial services environment.
Ø This role requires meticulous attention to detail.
Ø An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the Process environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.
Ø Flexible to work overtime and on holidays
Ø Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
