Chase is seeking a highly effective and organized VP, Digital Risk & Authentication Product Manager to play a broad and important role within the new Digital Account Opening (DAO) team. In this role, the candidate will help drive Chase’s evolving online, mobile, and in-branch experience with specific focus on creating a unified solution and approach across various products by serving as the primary liaison from Digital Originations with our key partners in Consumer Risk, Digital Risk, Digital Authentication, KYC and Digital Controls so that customers can shop, apply, and set up their products and services easily from the convenience of wherever they are and however they choose. This specific role will be the business knowledge expert across the DAO platform, including Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Digital Wealth Management and more. This specific role will collaborate with other business units as well as other several cross-functional support groups to develop a unified, comprehensive risk, authentication, underwriting and KYC for DAO from a business and risk management perspective. In addition, this role will be responsible to help build out a strategy in conjunction with key risk partners to further improve the DAO underwriting/identification process making use developing technologies in the market place (e.g. facial recognition, etc).
The ideal candidate understands the broader digital financial services landscape and is able to identify and tangibly bring to the life the evolution of the digital account opening experience. Comprehensive understanding of key areas including, but not limited to risk, customer identification, underwriting, KYC is required.
He or she must quickly ramp-up on existing work and quickly develop an ever-evolving roadmap to drive business objectives forward as well as keep Chase on the leading edge of the rapidly changing digital landscape. This role will specifically require a deep sense of teamwork and walls-down approach in order to succeed.
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, a strong sense of purpose and urgency in delivering a successful product, technically knowledgeable to translate into business requirements, strong interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for digital financial services. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a respected strong voice, and a go-getter who organically looks at processes and problems with a sleeves rolled-up mentality to collaboratively solve them.
