This is accomplished through the development of strong information risk governance policies, collaboration with business risk managers, and high quality security monitoring to improve the organization's overall risk posture.
 
Global Cyber Security is currently looking for Digital Forensics and Analytic Services Triage Analyst to be responsible for providing eyes on glass monitoring to triage security and insider threat events
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity organizational best practices, operations team experience, risk management processes and principles
  • Proficiency in the use of appropriate tools and staying current with relevant skills
  • Performing daily operational ‘eyes on glass’ real-time monitoring and analysis of internal security events from but not limited to events from Security Information Monitoring tools, network and host based intrusion detection systems, applications and databases.
  • Additional responsibilities will include reporting and documenting team procedures and workflows, documentation review and improvements, attending meetings as required  and working on projects to drive efficiencies
  • Working with global teams and Line of Business contacts for issue escalations and resolution

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems.  Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter.  The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science/Behavior Sciences/Law Enforcement  or related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 3-5+ years’ experience in a security role with an emphasis on investigations and digital evidence analysis.
  • Familiarity with Financial Institution policies and regulatory requirements
Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrable comprehension of compliance, policies and procedures, vulnerability management, privacy incidents and Data Loss Protection/Prevention (DLP)
  • Experience with reviewing raw log files from various sources, data/event correlation, and analysis
People Skills:
  • Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail
  • Possess drive, passion and fortitude, and be a dynamic, independent and resourceful  self-starter
  • Strong team player that collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Must be reliable and adaptable
  • Outstanding integrity and work ethic
Process Skills:
  • Experience with working on global teams across multiple time zones, cultures and languages a plus
  • Ability to follow operational processes and workflows
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to present complex solutions and methods to a general community and higher management as well as internal investigation entities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel and stakeholders regionally and globally
Experience/Skills (Preferred):
  • CISSP or other certifications a plus
  • Previous experience working for a large financial institution a plus
  • Previous experience as a corporate investigator or law enforcement preferred
