CIB Agency Lending provides a complete range of lending products that provide clients with opportunities to gain incremental income on their assets. Agency Lending enables institutional investors to earn extra income on their investment and pension portfolios with minimal risk and involvement.
The opportunity is to join the Agent Lending Product Team.  Based in Luxembourg, this role will report into the product management team based in London with local reporting into the Luxembourg Business Head for CFS.
As a Senior Product Manager the successful candidate will-
  • Be responsible for understanding product capabilities and existing business model, and apply this understanding to drive the delivery of both short and long-term key business initiatives impacting clients contracted with Luxembourg as well as the global client base when applicable. This will include but not be limited to addressing client or counterparty requirements, achieving regulatory compliance and improving efficiencies. Lead the associated Opportunity assessments and other internal approval processes (including new business initiative assessments) for any new Luxembourg impacting products or product changes, ensuring close collaboration with the wider Product team and functional partners. 
  • Build effective relationships with trading, sales, portfolio advisors and analysts, ops and tech teams to ensure successful delivery of these enhancements. 
  • Promote product enhancements to the sales, client teams and other internal partners, including where needed, the creation of client materials.
  • Manage the local oversight of the Agency Lending outsourced and delegated functions (compliance and performance) and provide a local reporting line for the Luxembourg based Portfolio Advisor & Analyst team.   
  • Be the product lead in the onboarding of new business into Luxembourg, including the review of non-standard services and legal provisions.
  • Work with product partners to scope & review the legal, tax and regulatory Due Diligence assessments that may impact the business contracted with Luxembourg 
  • Represent J.P. Morgan Agency Lending Luxembourg Product in both external industry groups, and across other internal businesses (including representation in risk and control forums).  Be the recognised point person within the business for all Agent Lending Luxembourg related matters.
  • Be the Agency Lending business representative on local Luxembourg control forums, including but not limited to New Business Approvals, Outsourcing, Risk.
  • Participate in Audits or regulatory examinations both locally & globally in relation to the Luxembourg Client base
Key Skills and Experience
  •  Proven track record in leading complex, strategic, global projects and/or change programmes, including set up of new products and business units.
  • Ability to effectively manage multi-functional virtual teams and influence outcomes with senior stakeholders and functional partners.  Must be able to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - comfortable negotiating at all levels within an organisation.
  • Must be confident in regular senior management interactions, which can be proven through prior experience.
  • Strong problem solving skills, with confidence to propose and recommend solutions and manage difficult messages with minimum assistance.
  • Strong risk and control mind-set. Results driven.
  • Strong technical skills - grasp new concepts quickly, even when no prior subject knowledge exists.  Be able to use problem solving skills to drive through issues.
  • Must have considerable relevant experience in financial markets, with diverse understanding of different products, preferably within the global fund management industry and securities financing products.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, deliver against tight deadlines, handle conflicting priorities and work independently.
  •  Must be a team player with an ability to build network.
