The online and mobile channels for Chase currently support more than 32 million active customers; 9 million customers interact with us daily, making Chase the most visited banking portal in the US.   Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry.

 

Within this fast-paced, high-talent Digital IT organization, the Emerging Payments Project Management Organization is the primary point of contact for Digital IT projects.  The Delivery Management team is seeking high energy, autonomous, motivated leaders to assume the role of Service Delivery Manager to create and communicate reporting materials that will be used to make decisions and improve the Delivery Management organization. 

 

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by creating / managing dashboards and other reports that will improve the productivity of the Delivery Management teams.  This position requires a high level of Clarity and MS Excel expertise, MS SQL, PL SQL, Crystal report and SharePoint skills.  This position will mainly consist of data collection from many different sources and analysis of results.  You will be responsible for presenting the findings and making recommendations to different groups for their action.  In order to maximize effectiveness, you will need to have strong communication skills as you will work closely with other groups both within and outside of Delivery Management.  You will utilize Clarity, MS SQL, PL SQL, Crystal report to design and develop dashboards and reports.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and distribution of weekly Project Management Reporting Packet.
  • Ensure Application Development team compliance of resource and financial management adherence (Forecast and Actual).
  • Formulate and maintain project management roadmap strategies.
  • Create metrics use to drive monthly and quarterly team business reviews.
  • Formulate and maintain release over release reporting.
  • Prepare material to drive quarterly and annual budget discussions.
  • Define and drive process improvement to strengthen the service delivery and project delivery teams.
  • Drive staffing processes enabling resources to be efficiently on and off boarded.  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience &/or specialized training in Business Administration, Finance or other quantitative field.  Experience in Project Management a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on analytics and reporting with knowledge of Technical Project delivery
  • Expert knowledge of the CA Clarity PPM Tool.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS SQL Database design and PL SQL. 
  • Proficient knowledge of the standard desktop applications including MS Excel 2007 (including macros, pivot tables, embedded queries, functions and charts), MS Power Point 2007, Work 2007, and MS Project 2007.
  • Experience creating and managing reports using Crystal Reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior management and an ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with management reporting, performance analysis techniques and project/process management and improvement.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, summarize finding and make recommendations.
  • Statistical analysis and/or financial forecasting experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize work efforts and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Independent logical problem solver, analytical ability to synthesize data.
