Team Description
Global AM CRM team is part of AM’s Client Service and Business Platforms.  The team in India is responsible for supporting a diverse range of business process and reporting needs across our global organization. The team provides functional and user support to the CRM platform. The role requires coordinating and working primarily with the Distribution teams, and their partners (Client Service, Marketing, Product, Finance, Technology, etc.)
 
Job Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the Global AM CRM team in India. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. S/He will be responsible to drive various initiatives to manage the CRM Platform efficiently including analyzing the data and working to improve data quality on the system (Salesforce.com). This position is a non-technical position.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Management and oversight of activities within the team:
    • Provide ongoing business support to the users for the CRM platform
    • Strong knowledge of database and data management experience. (Includes UATs, bulk upload, monitoring data feeds from various sources and ensuring smooth transition over into the system) 
    • Utilize multiple resources to make informed updates to the CRM system, territory assignments, maintain contact lists
    • Provide support on reconciliations for trades, attributes and integrations
    • Conduct assurance/quality checks on the data, audit of updates, manage CRM platform user access and build stringent control framework for the platform
    • Other Intermediary Functions - Review and action requests to access, make update to reps and accounts from spreadsheet
    • Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
    • Initiate or support on various Global Projects for Salesforce enhancements and process flow changes.
    • Ability to interpret system / business requirements and prepare specification and design document
    • An understanding of the sales process to better align changes to the CRM platform
  • Stakeholder management - effective communication and regular status reporting to key business stakeholders
  • Effective issue escalation management – identify, maintain and monitor key risks and issues
  • Ideate / drive business process improvement and efficiency initiatives for the group
  • Ensure that the team collaborates effectively with other parts of the organization to derive strategic solutions for the platform
  • Execution of departmental controls, procedures/templates, checklists and oversight metrics
  • People management, including specific training, mentoring and coaching/career development of the team members

 

Qualifications:
  • MBA/Engineering with atleast 10 years of relevant industry experience and knowledge of sales process
  • People management experience
  • Experience working with an industry recognized CRM platform (Salesforce knowledge is preferred)
  • Experience using enterprise scheduling/reporting tools (Business Objects is a plus)
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
