Firmwide Risk Governance and Planning: Strategy Execution - Executive Director
The Risk Governance and Planning organization acts under the direction of the firm’s CRO, providing a firmwide collection of risk strategies across all LOBs. The Risk Governance and Planning organization accomplishes this mission by providing a stringent governance and control framework across Finance, Risk and Technology.
This role will be reporting to the Director of the Risk Governance and Planning team.  They will be responsible for producing Board and Operating Committee (OC) level-presentations for various Firmwide Risk related initiatives.  This role is responsible for transforming ideas and concepts into clear concise presentations that will be presented to the most senior level audiences at the firm, including the Board, Operating Committee and other C-Suite level forums. Additionally, coverage for external presentations to Investors, regulators and other audiences as needed.
•       Analyze and interpret complex information across all LOBs strategies and synthesize them in a clear manner
•       Write, edit, and proofread content across a wide variety of LOBs, including Finance, Risk and Technology
•       Write and prepare effective copy for high level risk strategies and for regulatory committees
•       Partner with different organizations across Corporate / LOB Risk teams to assist in mapping and documenting the implementation process for projects across Risk Governance
•       Proactively manage progress and delivery of multiple projects at different stages of development; report on status, risks / issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful completion
•       Review project pipeline and schedules with senior management and team members
•       Prepare updates on project pipeline, progress and metrics for Senior Risk Management executives
•       Support various ad-hoc activities across Firmwide Risk Management
•       Produce original, clear and creative ideas/messages
•       Synthesize strategic messages into cohesive, compelling presentations
•       Help manage version control and effectively monitor content quality in production


  • Post Graduate degree in business with high level writing ability (MBA/JD)
  • 10+ years’ experience in the financial industry
  • Proven work experience as writer
  • Deep understanding of tone and voice
  • Understand broad functions of financial organization
  • Comfort working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple high-priority pieces simultaneously
  • Superior writing skills in English
  • Ability to turnaround presentations within given timeframes
  • Flawless accuracy in terms grammar and information
  • Good observation skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills
 Technical skills:
     Word and Powerpoint expertise required.
     Sample work must be provided.
