As an Associate in the Chase Auto Finance (CAF) Treasury team you will be working with the leadership team across the finance and LOB organizations.  The main responsibilities will be supporting the CAF Funds Transfer Pricing process and strategy, supporting the business development work-stream from a financial analysis and business case perspective, and supporting the team with capital and liquidity management.  You will partner with the CCB Treasury team to ensure proper treatment for each of your responsibilities. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Chase Auto Finance Funds Transfer Pricing (funding) execution and strategy
    • Lead and execute BAU funding processes
    • Complete ad hoc analyses to enhance CAF FTP strategy
    • Lead cross functional work-streams to execute and deliver on funding related projects
    • Act as subject matter expert in the short term interest rate market environment, prepare updates and presentations on the impacts of interest rate market developments to the funding costs for all respective CAF portfolios
    • Support other work related to funding and Proforma pricing
  • Business Development Finance
    • Conduct financial analysis and assist in building business cases for prospective CAF partnerships
    • Facilitate collaboration and communication amongst key partnership stakeholders
    • Develop and present business case analysis cross functionally, including but not limited to Finance, Business Development Sales, and Risk
  • Capital and Liquidity Management
    • Participate and support the management & optimization of  the overall capital and RWA processes for Chase Auto Finance
    • Participate and support the risk analysis on a monthly basis (structural features, underlying credit exposure, relevant market data) as it relates to capital markets activities
    • Very strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across a highly matrixed cross functional organization
    • Ability to communicate to leadership in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and written
    • Minimum 3-5 Years in finance or accounting
    • MBA preferred
    • Working knowledge of treasury and capital markets
    • Demonstrated analytical skills
