The Vendor Management Office (VMO) in Global Real Estate (GRE) is responsible for managing complex Global Real Estate Outsourcing contracts, Third Party Oversight compliance and more than 1,200 direct supplier relationships. This team is responsible for providing necessary information and consultation to Senior Business Leaders, as well as functional and regional partners to support the management of their supplier population and enable data-based decision making. The newly created role of Third Party Oversight (TPO) Contingent Worker (CW) Team Member will be based in Houston and will form a critical component of the broader VMO team. This role will be responsible for working in a team environment to ensure adherence to the Corporate TPO program.  The ideal candidate will effectively manage all compliance requirements regarding contingent worker program adherence, ensure firm systems are updated appropriately with vendor information and ensure governance standards are adhered to and administered in the most effective and efficient way to support our internal clients.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with Suppliers to ensure successful onboarding / off boarding of Contingent Workers
  • Manage, monitor and track compliance of contingent workers to the Contingent Workers Operations Center (CWOC) program
  • Audit supplier onboarding forms to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with JPMC and VMO policies
  • Perform data quality audits of information entered into the GRE vendor system
  • Handle all steady state actions required for the managed contingent worker population
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal clients and external suppliers for any Contingent Worker issues
  • Assist with reporting and database maintenance, as required
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience with desired candidates having experience with Vendor Management, Procurement, Sourcing, Risk, Oversight & Control, or related roles
  • Proficient in MS office suite applications- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio
  • Outstanding analytic ability working with financial or operational data
  • Excellent business judgment, particularly the ability to proactively monitor the program to identify and address issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long term solutions
  • Strong communications and reporting ability
  • Ability to partner closely with related functions (Sourcing, Legal & Compliance, Audit, etc.) to ensure a coordinated and effective program
