Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented individual to work in our Dallas office as a Production & Infrastructure Support Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Bank.
You will be responsible to perform production support functions for mission-critical financial applications. You will:
  • Work with the Application development teams to deploy software releases into Production environment.
  • Be responsible for trouble-shooting and resolving production outages, perform root cause analysis and implement remedial solutions.
  • Implement monitoring of the production environment and take corrective actions as required
  • Maintain disaster recovery environments and perform annual DR exercises
  • Tune batch cycles to support extended online availability requirements
  • Maintain knowledge base of known defects and issues, process and techniques, etc
  • Contribute to automation of common Operate functions to improve resiliency of the production environments and efficiency of the Production Support teams
  • Coordinate production platform upgrades with the Development and Infrastructure teams
  • Review controls for audit compliance and remediate any gaps
  • 5-10 years of hand on experience on the IBM Mainframe Environment
  • 5-10 years of TSO, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and CICS experience
  • 5-10 years of experience providing application support including batch abend resolution
  • Experience with job scheduling using CA7
  • Experience with File Transmission protocols such as FTP and NDM
  • Strong trouble shooting skills required
  • Results oriented and highly flexible
  • Must possess the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes
  • Willing to cross-train and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong trouble shooting skills required
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Disaster Recovery planning and executions experience
  • Understanding of Networking (TCP/IP)
  • Knowledge of Invest One software
  • Production support experience in the Financial industry a plus
