Commercial Banking serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. The Commercial Banking Client On-boarding (CBCO) Project Management Office (PMO) drives complex projects to improve the client and employee experiences, improve process and tool efficiency and reduce business risk. Projects are aligned with the business strategic initiatives and generally span across multiple partners and lines of business, may require technology development or have regulatory impact.
The CBCO PMO is seeking an experienced, process-minded professional with outstanding business and process sense for the role of Senior Project Manager.  As a Senior Project Manager, you will drive medium and large scale projects for the Client On-boarding organization.
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver enhanced processes and tools to maximize benefits, efficiency, simplification and overall improvement to client experience
  • Engage the right individuals and groups to drive participation and group consensus
  • Escalate issues with proposed solutions and keep key stakeholders informed of project status
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving and solid judgment decision making
  • Effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexity and understand impacts in book of work   
  • Diligent awareness of risks in our processes
  • Ownership, transparency and escalation of risk issues when they occur in a timely basis
The final officer title and job grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time of offer.  It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on candidate experience level. 
 
 
Qualifications
  • Expertise in project management methodology and techniques with proven teamwork and influential skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation and conflict management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self motivated, results oriented and analytical ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 5-7 years of project experience leading dynamic projects and project workgroups
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
    Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Prior experience in Client On-boarding
  • Adhere to deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced environment
