Commercial Banking (CB) delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and dedicated service to more than 24,000 global clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit organizations along with nearly 35,000 real estate investors/owners.
The Client Service group within Commercial Banking is a ~700FTE national organization that provides dedicated client service across all CB lines of business. 
A strategic priority for the organization is to ensure that we have best-in-class operational data, reporting, and business analytics programs that will drive continuous improvements in client experience, control, and efficiency while streamlining the management reporting cycle for maximum efficiency & value.
The successful candidate will learn core business processes while leveraging strong technical business intelligence reporting skillsets and tools to develop data and reporting programs. 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending source system enhancements to improve data quality 
  • Extract and load new data sources into data mart and ensure strong data quality controls are in place; Define, monitor, and report key business metrics; implement and manage various reporting processes and dashboards using primarily QlikSense, Qlikview toolsets 
  • Required to provide occasional weekend backup coverage for data processes in the event of client-impacting issues 
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to ad-hoc data extract requests 
  • Utilize project management best practices to track book of work priorities, communicate updates, and manage projects to successful completion; explain data concepts & challenges clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • 3-5 years of total experience within reporting and/or data-driven management consulting roles; strong technical skills a must 
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality reports from complex data sources 
  • Strong knowledge in SQL query development.  Advanced in all MS Office tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, PowerPoint) 
  • Self-starter; demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks independently 
  • Team player with excellent communication, project management, and client partnership ability 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing concepts and exposure to one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: QlikSense, SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Business Objects, SAS, Oracle/Teradata 
  • BS/BA required; prefer quantitative focus; advanced study a plus
