Team Summary:


The IIS (Investment Information Services) team develops and maintains high quality Performance Analytics software. The Sydney team is part of the global IIS team distributed over Dublin, Dallas, and New York. The team works with local and global stakeholders to specify, develop, test, deliver and maintain the software products. The team has recently embarked on a major overhaul to the legacy systems, and the successful candidate will be involved in specifying and designing the next-gen platform.


Key Accountabilities/Major Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a global team of internal and external clients to deliver end to end solutions
  • Be responsible for full SDLC, including testing and application support
  • Participate in and contribute to design and code reviews

Must have the following experience/skills:

  • 5 years of experience in Information technology with an emphasis on core Java (1.8) with relational DB experience.
    Minimum 3+ years of hands on Application Development work experience throughout the entire project lifecycle 
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in building quantitative applications in Java 1.8 
  • Messaging – Qpid, Apache MQ etc.
  • Demonstrable experience with relational DBs – Sybase 14.x 
  • Webservices 
  • Agile/Scrum experience in a large scale organization 
  • TDD and CI experience 
  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
