The Digital Wealth Management (DWM) organization aims to create a fully-integrated digital experience for investment clients across the wealth continuum. DWM partners closely with the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (WM) business – including senior management and front office leaders – to ensure the DWM roadmap and digital product offerings meet client needs and enhance their relationships with the firm. In delivering a compelling, omni-channel journey through the entire client life cycle, DWM will extend and amplify the firm’s wealth management experience through digital. Tight collaboration with functional partners and control areas is essential in DWM’s goal of executing against a multi-year strategic initiative that will drive growth in financial performance, increase business and operational efficiency, improve client satisfaction and increase market share.
Position Overview:
Digital Wealth Management is seeking a Digital Operating Model Associate to drive the execution of a substantial and complex multi-year, high priority strategic initiative. This individual will provide the structure and support to help coordinate implementation and delivery of all digital products and associated services along with stakeholder groups in WM including Product, Technology, Design, Operations, Client Service, Marketing and Communications, Strategy and other areas.  The candidate will manage both short-term and mid-term efforts in DWM while ensuring alignment with the long-term vision.
The successful candidate will need the ability to prioritize both at the task and project level according to many variables including business and client needs, technology complexity, resource availability, and internal trade-offs. 
The candidate will partner with overall Digital Capabilities Product Managers and business stakeholders to lead digital integration initiatives to improve the client experience and enhance our digital channels. Including:
  • Drive the end-to-end implementation of digital capabilities to create a robust platform, working closely with process owners, business and digital product managers, technology, pilot testers, functional areas, customer experience/design teams
  • Develop and implement organizational processes in partnership with senior management and cross-functional teams to support the acquisition and servicing of clients through digital channels
  • Collaborate with Digital Product Managers and business partners to create and deliver a thoughtful and compelling end-to-end client experience
  • Engage internal partners to discover, understand and solve for operational and business impacts of launching new products while building awareness through communications and training
  • Identify weaknesses, gaps and opportunities for improvement and report findings in a simple, intuitive way to transform and change the status quo through influencing business stakeholders at all levels
  • BA/BS degree required (advanced degrees, other certification a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic consulting, management consulting, project management, process improvement, business re-engineering (experience working in financial services, particularly in wealth management, is preferred)
  • Highly energetic self-starter with a relentless focus on execution,  thoughtful analysis, and a bias toward action
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; manager/ owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively listen to and communicate with technical and non-technical people
  • Outstanding ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment to resolve issues under tight deadlines with calmness and poise under pressure
  • Passionate about generating big, creative ideas for digital wealth, growing the business and building innovative products
