As an experienced Software Engineer, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


   Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

   Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

   Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

   Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful Relationships to achieve common goals

   Responsible for design decisions in middleware services organization

   Partner with the Application Development Leads in the analysis and estimation of future work impacting our team.

   Partner with Architects on the design and architecture for Middleware organization

   Strengthen the presence of our team as a Technical center of excellence. Actively work with other leads to align to a consistent technology vision and keep the rest of the organization aware of our activities.

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent.
  • Experience working as a hands-on (actively coding) Application Development Lead or related role.
  • Experience in software development methodologies such as Scrum and TDD.


  • Java – Expert-level implementation skills with Java and J2EE.
  • Database – Expert-level implementation skills with ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA or MyBatis. Must be highly proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases.
  • Web Services – Strong experience with SOAP web services using JAX-B or Axis or REST frameworks
  • MQ – Experience with MQ interfaces
  • Application Servers – Broad and deep understanding of multiple application server platforms including Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere.
  • General – Comfortable in more than one programming language and have a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken forms).
