CIB F&BM LE / LOB Program – Vice President
Location:  Brooklyn, New York
The CIB Global Program Management team is responsible for the management and delivery of a range of large scale initiatives.  
The LE/LOB Vice President will lead the management and execution of the portfolio and each individual project liaising with Corporate project team, CIB stakeholders and Technology.  Role is in Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) within Finance & Business Management’s (F&BM) Program Management team.
Projects in the portfolio aim to align Legal Entity and MIS results across the finance platform, provide a single entry for reporting across LE and LOB results and re-engineer the indirect expense allocation process.    
The candidate should have exceptional communication and project management skills and demonstrate solid judgment and leadership skills, as well as ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a complex environment.  Experience with financial reporting is preferred. 
The LE / LOB Vice President will lead the program, manage project execution and lead governance within CIB.   
  • Ensure programs are managed with appropriate oversight (governance, project plans, stakeholder/communication plans, requirements, testing, design, issue/risk).
  • Identification of issues and resolutions, project resourcing and benefits realization.
  • Ensure projects are executed in most effective and efficient manner.
  • Facilitate meetings with senior managers and key stakeholders to communicate updates, directional changes and key risks/issues while influencing outcomes and driving resolution. 
  • Ensure best practices on project management disciplines are followed.
    Leadership and Team Management:
  • Manage and develop staff and provide leadership and strategic direction.  
  • Build proactive partnerships with business and functional partners.  Influence the agenda for the program.
Project Execution:
  • Manage individual projects in the LE/LOB portfolio end-to-end and partner with various stakeholders. 
  • Manage the project management process which is moving from Waterfall methodology to Agile methodology. 
  • Lead the documentation of business requirements / user stories. 
  • Manage UAT end-to-end in partnership with Corporate project team; this includes defining test strategy, managing testers and general test management.
  • In partnership with Corporate program team, develop program/projects scope, goals, project plans, and milestones.  Manage project timelines and track and execute against required deliverables.
  • Resolve conflicts and successfully manage project/task dependencies.  Identify and effectively solution for risks, issues and control gaps.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 5 years of previous Program Management / Change Management / Project Execution experience (with a financial institution preferred).
  • Experience with financial reporting systems is preferred.  Experience with allocation process is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the proven ability to execute, influence and drive results.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to synthesize large data sets and identify targeted, crisp messages.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to influence outcomes and drive resolution.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to compare complex alternatives and select a solution.  Ability to apply creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency.
