CCB Risk
Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others.
 
This posting is for a Risk Data Analyst in Business Banking’s Risk Reporting & Data Management Team which reports to the Chief Risk Officer. The Risk Data Team is tasked with a) managing the health of BB Risk data, performing daily & monthly reconciliation of data between CCB and Wholesale systems, b) Business Analysis/SME for 2 major migration projects (Ispreso and build out of new daily data mart in ICDW), c) Wholesale Lead for CCAR program –working with Finance & Technology to provision BB data for CCAR reporting, d) working with CCB Data Management on certifying BB data and e) investigating adhoc data quality issues, working with various Technology Teams to determine tactical and strategic solutions.
 
The Business Banking Risk Data Analyst will work primarily with the Wholesale team lead on the daily & monthly reconciliation processes, investigating BAU data quality issues, and will be responsible for working with the various Technology teams to determine & implement tactical and strategic solutions end to end from request to implementation. This role will also give the individual opportunity to get involved in other project work. The ideal candidate will have a Business Analysis background with a love of data analysis, be strong in SQL, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated. This opportunity will be ideal for those looking to gain an understanding of BB from a credit risk, policy & procedures, system and data perspective. 
 
  • BA/BS degree
  • 3 plus years of related business experience
  • Business Analysis/Data Analysis experience
  • Understanding & experience of the Software Delivery Lifecycle following waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Strong SQL skills  
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work for self and others
