Duties: Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business users. Create Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing design involving ETL processes. Design the ETL architecture that meets requirements. Perform Data Modeling and design solution to load data into Data warehouse. Design database structures and aggregate views for presentation layer of the data warehouse/datamarts. Coordinate with application development team through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including warehouse design, development, testing, delivering and supporting the solution/product and configuration. Escalate issues to Project Managers and Business Analysts during the SDLC. Responsible for optimizing performance of ETL (DataStage jobs & Ab Initio graphs) and Database (Teradata and Oracle) Stored Procedure without impacting functionality. Adapt Agile Methodologies (Scrum or Kanban or both). Provide guidance to team members onsite and offshore for delivering high quality product and enhancing end user experience. Work on a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions and processes. Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives.Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, Applications Developer, IT Consultant or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: ETL tool IBM InfoSphere DataStage; Oracle; Teradata; UNIX; and Control-M. This position requires two (2) years of experience with following skills: Ab Initio; Source control management tool like subversion; SDLC including design, development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, implementation and supporting production system; Quality Center; ETL architecture and dealing with Source System analysis, requirement gatherings, and documenting the details in functional, non- functional and technical documents; developing/debugging/performance tuning complex Oracle/Teradata Stored Procedures, PL/SQL programs and UNIX Shell Scripts; and designing and developing OLTP/OLAP systems, Data Warehouse and DataMarts using Star/Snowflake Schema.
