WMIS Operations Summary
WMIS Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank in JP Morgan’s Asset Management line of business. The Private Bank is the world’s premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals.  Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations.  Global Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.
 
WMIS Operations Control & Governance (OC&G)
The OC&G team sits within the business and acts as an independent body to test the controls of the organization, highlight the health of the organization and provide detective and preventative tools for the business to use to mitigate risk.  The Client Onboarding MIS side of the team is responsible for developing the reporting suite needed by our Account Opening team to manage their processes and to identify areas of risk as well as opportunities for the organization.
 
This individual will be tasked to facilitate the development of critical reporting around volumes, quality, timeliness and risk within the account opening processes and will play an integral role in developing globally standardized metrics for both the US and International Private Bank entities. The position requires direct coordination across all levels of management and will be accountable to senior leaders within the WMIS organization. Success in this function requires an inclination to managing data and visualizing trends to help management target process gaps and hotspots. A keen eye on detail is a must, the ability to effectively manage through time-sensitive deliverables, strong organizational skills, as well as familiarity with the common reporting tools used for reporting. The role with be supporting the Account Opening MIS lead and will be based in Delaware.
 
Responsibilities (includes below but not limited to)
  • Oversee the deep dives around the account opening processes to determine the reporting requirements as well as gaps
  • Accountable for supporting the development of an overall build plan and will own direct engagement with Technology partners
  • Manage the standardization effort around the different reporting teams across the regions
  • Design tactical reports while building the pipeline for strategic reporting enhancements
  • Partner with the broader Client Onboarding MIS team in developing a holistic MIS package covering both KYC and Account Opening processes

  • Excellent computer data management skills is a must: MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)

  • Forward-looking and creative thinker
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing reporting
  • Experienced in metrics & analysis and the identification of key trends
  • Qualified in managing engagement with a wide array of stakeholders across varying levels in the organization
  • Proven effective project manager
  • Capable of direct interface with Senior Management / Senior Leadership
  • Able to simultaneously address multiple requirements and tasks
  • Experienced with managing conflict and deriving consensus
    Education
    A.S. / B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience; Masters’ Degree is preferred
    Business, Finance, Statistics or Computer Science; an MIS background is also preferred
