This position is part of the centralized SWAT team supporting the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) risk management organization. The group supports various strategic project initiatives across the CCB risk organization. The team works across all consumer business lines, namely credit cards, auto, mortgage, business banking and retail banking. In this role, you will gain knowledge of risk management, controls and infrastructure, as well as develop a solid understanding of risk analytics and how it evolves and impacts the overall business and the industry.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Be able to action on the identified opportunities in process automation of data analytical work flows
  • Process automation could include writing codes and macros in SAS / SQL and VBA, as well as utility application development using advanced programming languages
  • Be able to test and provide QA on the proposed solution
  • Be able to develop self-service data visualization utilities using BI tools like Tableau
  • Bachelor's in Information technology / computer sciences or equivalent field
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in technology or analytics teams.
  • Proficient in the following applications:  SAS, SQL, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
  • Prior experience in UNIX and relational databases.
  • SAS Certification and Exposure to BI visualization tools e.g. Cognoss, Tableau, etc will be of advantage.
  • Hands-on work schedule (be able to extract relevant information / data, write requisite code and independently execute the requisite solution).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals.
