Duties: Analyze and synthesize data in order to design business strategies to yield results that directly contribute to company's business objectives. Conduct comprehensive business analysis to provide insights or root causes for business performance. Identify new operational and process opportunities. Perform end to end analytics lifecycle and strategy implementation. Prepare business cases by using financial methods within P&L frameworks. Maintain superior controls to manage various risks such as operational, financial, or reputations. Present business proposals and results to senior management.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Statistics, Econometrics, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as Business Analytics, Technical Support Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: developing business strategies using statistical methods and profit and loss criteria; capacity planning and optimization to achieve specific business targets; implementing operational rules in automated environments; end to end monitoring and evaluation of business rule effectiveness; univariate and multivariate analysis of data comprising of at least one million records and one hundred different variables; predictive modeling using linear regression, logistical regression, and classification tree; SAS including writing macro scripts, automation scripts, and SAS experience in UNIX environment; building models with CART or Knowledge Seeker; extracting and manipulating data from multiple databases such as Oracle, Teradata, or Microsoft SQL Server with at least a billion records; writing SQL scripts; connecting to databases from both Windows and Unix environments using SQL tools and SAS; combining datasets using SAS Datastep and SQL; detecting and remediating problems of missing values, extreme values and outliers in business and customer data; Windows and Unix operating environments; Unix shell scripts; and business intelligence tools including Tableau, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and Teradata SQL Assistant.
