Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) is a best-in-class global HR service delivery organization of approximately 650 people, servicing the entire global population of JPMC, currently totaling over 240,000 employees worldwide, in 60 countries. HRSD provides vital services in the area of Payroll, HR Call Center (accessHR), Employee On and Off Boarding, Data Management, Benefits Administration and Project Management. The HRSD Global Data Management Operations ensures employee records are appropriately created, stored, used, retained and destroyed in support of a firm-wide document management governance policy and framework.
The Project Manager works as a liaison among HR business and technology stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems. The role is responsible for understanding and analyzing business requirements for specific record imaging needs, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and verifying that solutions meet the requirements. This is done through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of applicable business processes, systems, and industry requirements. Also recommend business priorities and advise the lines of business of options, risks, and costs. The Project Manager will also participate in all phases of a project including initial project planning, functional specifications definition and documentation, process analysis, estimating and implementation.
Facilitate user testing by writing test cases, running demonstrations, overseeing defect resolution, creating appropriate documentation (testing guides, progress reports, etc.) and obtaining proper sign-off
Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports and presentations for assigned projects
Ensure quality of project results
3-5 years of project management experience
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
Effective analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Escalates issues quickly and helps to resolve; solution focused
End-to-end User Acceptance Testing experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint & Visio
Prior experience in document management processes and tools is a plus. (e.g. Enterprise Imaging and Scanning Systems, Captiva / IBM FileNet / Content Management On Demand)
Business Objects / SQL experience preferred
Agile experience a plus
