EMEA Business Travel Tax Program – Analyst/Associate
The Global Business Travel Tax program team (BT Team) is a specialist function with the Human Resources function.  The team was created in recognition of the increased focus from tax authorities on tax reporting and withholding requirements for business travelers.  The team is responsible for introducing a phased implementation of the program across the EMEA region – this will include providing guidance oversight, analytical support, liaison with tax experts,  operational support for escalations and vendor management (of an outsourcing partner).
The position will support the EMEA regional program manager with communications and implementation support with the employee experience element of the Business Travel Tax Program including: coordination between internal and external stakeholders with regards to employee communications on all aspects of the program; corresponding between global and line of business partners to help manage tax compliance and reporting; developing any applicable training materials and to be a point of contact for employee communication.  
Key Responsibilities
  • Building strong business partnerships with the regional BT operations team, the global project management team and the global communications team for developing communications.
  • Be the EMEA lead on the testing of the BT Tracking team.  This will include coordinating with BT operations team members, to ensure testing is fairly distributed, results are consolidated and reported back in a timely manner to the global team.
  • Lead the production of training materials for the program, including both on line and in person training.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Program lead and PMO on all aspects of new population launches and program expansion in the EMEA region
  • Providing support and assistance to the JPMC employee base that have been identified with tax obligations to an external entity outside their home country/state.  This will include but not exclusive to being the liaison between the JPMC employee base and the third party vendor, answering queries with regards to the program and the process. 
  • Coordinate with local country representatives during implementation and the normal course of business to ensure requirements are included within the process and there is an active channel of communication between concerned parties.
  • Monitor JPMC employee communications from the third party vendor and manage employee escalations and issue resolution between JPMC clients (employee) and the vendor.
  • Assist with the enforcement of the Business Traveler Program policy and guidelines.
  • General support for the PMO team.
