Duties: Configure and act upon application monitoring to ensure regulatory and compliance applications are stable at all times and reporting service level agreements are met. Drive resiliency across the regulatory and compliance applications partnering with application developers to deliver a robust and resilient platform. Provide technology assistance to users in the compliance and legal departments who are handling external regulators queries. Utilize knowledge and understanding of the reporting environment to be able to translate their requests into technology tasks that can provide the requisite artifacts for the external regulators. Attend to technology incidents in the production space that impact the regulatory and compliance applications. Utilize an understanding of the criticality of reporting that could be impacted, sending escalations to the impacted parties, triaging the incident and driving resolution and closure to prevent re-occurrence. Dovetail with support in other regions to ensure currently defined global regulatory reporting requirements are met. Review metrics for the production environment with the application development team to identify and address any potential problems. Identify and wargame resiliency tests of the production environment to ensure its stability and availability. Remove all manual activities within the environment, automating tasks to improve productivity and reliability. Onboard support for any new regulatory reporting requirements and ensure seamless cover from the global team.Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum experience required: Five (5) years of experience in application support, or related experience.

*Skills required: Unix shell scripting experience. SQL queries and stored procedures experience. Knowledge of global regulatory reporting. Experience supporting compliance systems. Knowledge of derivative products. Experience with production health monitoring tools. Application migration experience. Knowledge of Java/J2EE based applications. Experience with incident management best practices. Experience with debugging and bug fixes. Experience with batch scheduling and issue capturing tools. Experience working in the banking industry.
