This role requires strong development background, including:
  • Experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development
  • Experience using large scale software development in one of these languages: Minimum 3+ years in Core Java with Spring experience, preferably Java 7 and above. Other programming languages (Python) a PLUS.
  • Experience using system and software security and entitlements such as SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD
  • Experience with new and emerging technologies such as cloud and virtualization
  • Minimum 2+ year experience working in Linux, Unix and/or Windows environment
  • 2-5+ years of hands-on full development lifecycle experience from inception through implementation.
  • Technology infrastructure stacks expertise a PLUS: Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, virtualization
  • Experience with multi-threading and concurrency.
  • Experience in highly scalable REST/web service, caching servers, SOAP, HTTP
  • Experience in middleware platforms and software-defined infrastructure technology a plus. (database, web, messaging) Minimum 2+ year experience working with SQL RDBMS.
  • Experience with Cassandra and Kafka a Plus.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems 
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages Java and Python
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • 5+ years proven work experience in software development
  • 5+ years proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, HPE Fitnesse etc. (3+ years)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
