Description:

This role will support the activities associated with the consolidation MIS function within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) line of business.

Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate should possess a strong understanding of the consumer financial services industry and its related business drivers.  In addition, the candidate should have financial systems experience along with a strong aptitude for accuracy and reconciliation. Interaction between Finance, Information Technology, Risk and Accounting are required to ensure existing system are maintained properly.

 

Core activities associated with the position include the following:

  • Manage the monthly Strategic Dimension Maintenance (SDM) process across CCB
  • Reconcile monthly results between the CCB financial systems and the Corporate applications for LOB and Legal Entity results
  • Partner with CCB Treasury team on Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) processes
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting
  • Collect, consolidate and reconcile all month-end volume-related metrics that feed into the different financial systems
  • Identify and implement automated solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation – e.g. desktop procedures, process flows, etc.
  • Ensure all processes and controls are followed
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or financial systems discipline.  MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in Finance, Systems, IT and/or Business Management
  • Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight timelines
  • Proactive, responsive, team player, self motivated, flexible
  • Knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Oracle Essbase experience preferred
