Position Description:

 

We're looking for a Communications Analyst to join our small, dynamic team to help us support a wide variety of communications. You’ll:

 

·         Be responsible for support tasks that run the gamut—everything from updating content on existing internal websites to collecting and reporting metrics for all communication channels

·         Assist with user testing, change validation and other responsibilities to help us maintain CCB’s communication channels (mobile, web and email)

·         Support communications for employee events, such as town halls, quarterly business reviews and executive bus trips

·         Design, manage and maintain databases and internal SharePoint sites

·         Help with other projects as assigned from communication groups within Chase’s consumer lines of business

·         Collaborate with writers, designers and developers to perform daily communication support tasks and special projects

 

This role requires strong technical aptitude, ability to self-prioritize, exceptional accuracy and proofreading skills, plus a service-focused approach to working with internal clients. We work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment and we value the ability to juggle multiple projects and appreciate people who sweat the details.

Responsibilities and duties:

·         Use Adobe Site Catalyst Report builder, Tableau and Microsoft Office to generate readership reports

·         Create repeatable processes for data analysis and visualization in Tableau

·         Create repeatable processes for people analysis with regards to employee events and attendee management

·         Format Outlook messages with complex tables and graphics

·         Extract data from firm’s targeted email platform given specific use cases

·         Serve as a Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME), training colleagues and communications professionals as needed

·         Format and distribute large-scale employee communications through a targeted email tool

·         Own and update a number of internal reference guides and job aids

·         Set up large-group conference calls and provide general logistics support for special employee events, town halls and communications projects

 

 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Science Technology or a related field preferred

·         1‒3 years similar work experience in a professional environment

·         Excellent documentation writing fundamentals, editing and proofreading skills

·         Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to problem-solve and learn processes and technology quickly

·         Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability and ability to work under pressure

·         Willingness to provide support outside of normal business hours, when needed

·         Comfortable working with ambiguity and transforming rough ideas into client-ready deliverables

·         Possesses interpersonal and relationship-building skills to support and communicate with subject-matter experts or Communications colleagues who have limited technical knowledge

Required experience with the following technologies:

·         Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·         Basic knowledge of targeted email and survey creation software

·         Basic knowledge of web analytics tools

·         Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

·         Basic knowledge of content management systems

Experience with the following is a plus:

·         HTML email best practices

·         Responsive web design

·         Accessibility best practices

·         Adobe Creative Suite
