From managing the firm’s capital and reporting quarterly earnings to responding to and complying with regulatory requirements, more than 8,000 colleagues around the world work together every day to manage the firm's Global Finance function. Our job is to ensure the company is capable of navigating all types of market environments while maintaining a fortress balance sheet. The Finance function is a dynamic organization that plays a critical role, particularly as increasing regulatory and capital requirements change the way we do business. Planning & Analysis (P&A), in addition to CFO teams, Controllers, Business Managers and Project management, make up the majority of the Global Finance team.

Earlier this year, all P&A teams across all lines of businesses came together under one organizational umbrella, and as part of that effort, there was a specific firm-wide objective to simplify processes, accelerate automation, and enhance analytics within the P&A teams. In order to support those objectives, a newly created group - Robotics & Dashboards Center of Excellence (CoE) – is being created to support the P&A organization in automating manual processes using Robotics software and creating dynamic and flexible visual dashboards using a wide array of BI tools. Sitting in the center, this CoE will interface with internal clients (the LOB P&A teams) to source ideas around robotics and dashboard opportunities, run functional and technical feasibility analyses to translate the ideas into use cases and then partner with our Technology partners to deliver tangible solutions against those use cases. This role will focus on providing dashboards (e.g. Tableau) and BI solutions to business users within Global Finance and Business Management, Corporate Sector Finance, and CCB Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prototype dashboards for Global Finance and Business Management users
  • Provide overall best practices of Dashboard development and BI / MIS tools
  • Create executive level readouts and status updates provided to clients and senior management
  • Own client relationships within Global Finance and Business Management
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • Liaising between LOB and respective technology teams
  • Use SCRUM / Agile techniques to drive delivery efficiency with the technology teams

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Finance and/or Technology
  • Delivery oriented, conscientious and reliable, strong written and verbal communication a must
  • Minimum of 3 years of  experience; within a finance / technology environment preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of Tableau / Qlikview development experience
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL), strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with web design (HTML, CSS, JS) and ETL (Pentaho) a plus
  • Excellent project management and client relations skills preferred.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization and presentation/demoing skills.
