Managed Solutions & Strategy (MSS) Overview: MSS manages discretionary investment strategies that are asset class, style, sector base or thematic for clients across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (WM).  Discretionary investment offerings include multi-asset, single asset class and alternative strategies offered through individual accounts and private and registered funds. 
 
Portfolio Management Group (PMG): Portfolio Management group is primarily responsible for Daily management, monitoring, rebalancing, and implementation of tactical calls across discretionary portfolios while providing a consistent client experience.
PMG owns portfolio implementation enabling the front office to focus on other priorities; growth through client acquisition, retention, and relationship management, etc.
 
Job Description: Support the Portfolio Management group globally to execute on BAU activities, initiatives/projects and adhoc business analysis. The analyst in this role has following responsibilities:
  • Ensure reports are prepared on a timely basis with a very high level of accuracy &
  • Be able to understand the requirements of onshore partners & assist the team in maintaining the existing reporting procedures, tools and workflows necessary to facilitate the reporting process.
  • Have foresight & understanding of business terms & requirement
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and efficient manner with multiple support teams both locally and globally
  • Prepare excel based reporting on a weekly/daily/monthly to monitor drifts in the investment portfolios, monitor Cash/security activity in the accounts and identify performance outliers
  • Provide weekly & monthly and adhoc reporting to senior management to give an oversight of the activities on business drivers
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of all the activities
  • Translate huge volumes of data into meaningful information using MS office tools like Access & Excel and SQL server
  • Partner with technology to improve processes
Requirements:
  • Qualified CA/MBA with 2 – 4 years’ experience in Financial Services Industry preferably in Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Good Knowledge of investments products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of QlikView & SQL server
