MMBSI Analyst Program Resource Management, Associate

The MMBSI Analyst Program is aimed at developing junior talent within banking, underwriting and treasury.  This position reports to the National Program Manager and will assist managing the execution of the MMBSI Analyst Program, as well as providing support to Resource Managers in day-to-day program management responsibilities and analyst engagement. The MMBSI Resource Managers are leaders in banking, credit and treasury who manage the analysts while representing the interests of the business.  This group, as well as the analysts, are the main clients of the Program Management team. Collaborating with specialists in Human Resources, Finance and Business Management, and Business Operations are also instrumental in successfully delivering the analyst program.


Specific Responsibilities


  • Deliver national business strategy for the MMBSI Analyst Program

  • Provide support to MMBSI Resource Managers on all aspects of analyst management including but not limited to, onboarding, performance development, recruiting, rotation process, placement process, & headcount planning

  • Ensure best in-class analyst and intern experience that meets talent pipeline objectives for the business

  • Manage the analyst rotational process throughout their time in the MMBSI Analyst Program

  • Coordinate the analyst placement process into permanent roles post-MMBSI Analyst Program

  • Preparation of communications to constituents and stakeholders

  • Work with finance and HR on analytics related to optimal analyst leverage ratio’s and forecasted attrition to forecast pipeline intern/analyst needs

  • 4+ years of finance, communications or human resources experience within JPMC
  • Professional Leadership
    • Balance strategic thinking and tactical execution 
    • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with colleagues at all levels and across Banking, Risk, Treasury, Human Resources, and Finance
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and escalate, as appropriate
    • Proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be flexible
    • Operate effectively under pressure; able to deal with ambiguity
  • Analytical Skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data and present fact-based summaries and reports
    • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas for large data sets)
    • Strong PowerPoint skills in creating executive level presentations
  • Business Execution
    • Strong desire to learn Commercial Banking
    • Understand and consider various business needs to drive consistent solutions
    • Sound judgment in dealing with large amounts of confidential/sensitive information
    • Disciplined time management skills with ability to prioritize competing priorities
