The User Tools (UT) program coordinates and implements all UT related deliverables and standards across CIB Finance. The team leverages relationships within each business and region to expand the program’s reach.  This model allows the participating businesses to more easily share best practices and better leverage their collective talent. The Financial Analyst will be required to work closely with the line of business controllers, legal entities and corporate teams to disseminate UT requirements and identify areas of improvement.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the User Tools Program
  • Ability to clearly communicate standards, responsibilities and deliverables related to the User Tools Program to affected user population
  • Work with various businesses and financial controllers to identify potential areas of improvement
  • Ability to design and implement complex procedures to improve overall functionality of the User Tools Program
  • Willing to proactively identify and resolve areas of discrepancy
  • Develop metrics that accurately detail progress towards completion of upcoming deadlines
  • Comfort liaising with business and risk managers
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships within the various product aligned businesses and across other corporate financial, treasury, and accounting groups
  • Ability to understand business drivers and requirements to influence users to deliver solutions to business issues and problems
  • Strong organizational skills:
    Must be able to track progress, complete deliverables and communicate subject materials within a frequently changing environment
  • Superb problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues
    Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Business related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.) 
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office applications
