JPMorgan Chase is seeking talented candidates for a role in our Business Banking Strategy and Business Development team to expand our online small business lending platform. The successful candidate for this role will work with a team focused on the development and growth of new small business credit offerings, product innovation and strategy, customer experience design, execution and launch of new offerings and product features. The candidate will also support efforts to define the strategy and roadmap for business development opportunities.


The role will support the following key components:

  • Creation of product and business development strategies to enhance the portfolio of credit solutions to small business customers
  • Development of core product features, customer experience, marketing and go-to-market approach for new or expanded credit solutions
  • Execution / oversight of pilots to launch and test new credit products or partnerships
  • Monitoring results of pilots based on performance, customer and field feedback and operational insights
  • Determining integration points with existing business products / processes for similar offerings
  • Leading problem-solving across functions (with a focus on executing the business vision)
  • Helping to manage external partner engagement
  • Preparing updates for senior management

This unique role will allow a multi-faceted candidate to join an entrepreneurial team supported by the assets of JPMC to help lead an exciting new initiative. This role also presents an excellent opportunity to:

Areas of responsibility include:
  • Executing against strategy and product development (end-to-end)
  • Performing competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
  • Working collaboratively with team members across LOBs and functional areas
  • Developing and contributing to concise communication materials for senior management
  • Ensuring work aligns to the overall project objectives and JPMC strategic priorities

  • 1-3 years of experience from either a premier management consulting firm, in-house strategy, OR from a investment banking (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division
  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches (including comfort in working with large data sets), communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), and work well in cross-functional teams
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Diverse problem solving experience, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem solving environments within financial services
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
  • Bachelors degree required with strong academic credentials
