The CCB Controls Automated Testing team leverages automation techniques and tools to (1) improve the understanding of the business environment, products, and services; (2) assist with improved methods for the evaluation of controls; and (3) improve testing relating to the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and Quality Assurance (QA).  In partnership with the control officers across CCB, the team provides business and data analytic support including designing requirements, performing one-time analysis, assisting with annual control testing, performing data mining to understand the business, and automating re-occurring testing.
  • The goal of the Automated Testing team is to work identify automation opportunities and successfully deliver solutions which assist with assessing, validating, and managing operational risks across CCB. 
  • The team supports all CCB Control teams including CCB Operations, Banking Centers, Mortgage, Card Services, Commerce Solutions, Business Banking, and Chase Wealth Management. 
  • When automation efforts helps identify opportunities for improved controls, the team will work closely with the control officer for that area to escalate concerns to senior management, and assists with driving improvements, operational efficiency, and/or organizational alignment. 
  • To ensure the ongoing effectiveness of controls, the team may also participate in key change activities and projects to provide consultation on control impacts. 
 
This person will serve as a project manager and business resource across a range of activities required to support the CCB Control team’s process and technology needs.  Responsibilities include management and coordination of projects both within the Automated Testing team and across the larger CCB control organization, assessment/improvement of current applications/systems/reports, evaluation of QA automation opportunities, and process improvement.
 
We are looking for candidates with strong business knowledge to identify opportunities, strong project management to right-size the efforts for each project, and/or solid technical skills or understanding with the creativity to design effective and efficient solutions.  Candidate must have solid knowledge of key CCB business and/or Operational and Enterprise Risk Management.  Some knowledge or experience with data management preferred.  Must have strong project management skills and ability to develop business solutions and requirements.  Must have demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners.  Candidate will participate on projects, as assigned.  
  • 6+ years in Financial Services with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Detailed knowledge of a core CCB business area
  • Operational or Enterprise Risk experience; Knowledge of business and compliance controls and requirements
  • Project, Program Management and/or Business Analysis experience
  • Experience working with mid-level business partners
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and ability to network across both business and technology organizations
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent business and data analysis skills with ability to apply business knowledge to new situations
  • Flexible and adaptable in response to changing demands
  • Ability to leverage Microsoft toolset
  • Experience using relational database tools and with alternative data storage solutions preferred
