Main activities of the open position consist of ensuring high quality and timely items processing and follow up / investigations of any transfer agency queries or issues with internal / external service providers/banks. This activity is generally carried out offshore with the oversight remaining in Luxembourg, albeit Luxembourg staff are trained to process also.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will report to a member of the team’s management group. The candidate will be required to be able to cover most of the processing and oversight activities performed within the TA area within the team they are allocated to,  and be flexible to change team and role if/where appropriate across the thre main stripes in the area:  Cash/Dealing/Retocessions Processing. Within this they will be expected to:
  • Ensure adherence to Global Transfers Standard and all other policies and procedures and internal controls connected to this
  • Ensure execution of all processing items received with respect to cut-off times and value date (various systems, currencies, SLD)
  • Ensure effective monitoring and reporting of outstanding items / backlog
  • Ensure that all internal/external clients receive the highest quality of service, executing requests/instructions accurately on the day of receipt (same day processing) while adhering to company standards.  Provide good judgement, value-added service and have sense of priorities.
  • Achieve individual performance levels to support the Department Key Performance Indicators 
  • Escalate immediately incidents, apply corrective actions and follow up preventative actions
  • Liaise with internal service providers, ocassionally distributors and with correspondent banks
  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of BAU processes 
  • Ensure production of reports and quality in deliveries
  • Good knowledge and experience of Transfer Agency processing with at least 2 years experience in either a Cash, Dealing or Retrocessions/Trailer Fee group.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Team player with people and performance management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, investigation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines, Focuses on results and accuracy.
  • Work quickly with accuracy and with the minimum of supervision whilst adhering to existing control procedures
  • Work well as part of a team but also be able to work independently escalating any issues when necessary
  • Ability to work in an environment where adherence to controls and procedures is an operational necessity
  • Computer literate
