The TA Registration team is responsible for maintenance of the shareholder register within the Funds. As such the team is responsible for executing all instructions received from investors and agents.
 
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The principle objective of the position is to ensure that all requests for the creation and maintenance of Investor and Agent records are processed accurately and in a timely manner. 
 
  • Scanning of original documentation received from Investors and Agents into the imaging system.
  • Responding to investor queries for additional correspondence or reporting.
  • Running daily, weekly and monthly internal control reports.
  • Processing instructions received from investors or agents in the core registration systems.
  • Processing violations for Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions and or PEP matches in various screening systems.
  • Support the Transfer Agency Registrations team and assist with ad hoc processing when required.
Qualifications/ Experience
  • The successful candidate should be interested in working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and participate in a number of key initiatives that have an impact on the department.
  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter, who takes ownership of issues and drives them to resolution.
  • Good organisational skills – manages and prioritises multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Transfer Agency processing and some general industry knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and problem solving skills.   Previous Transfer Agency experience would be an advantage.
