The Enterprise Technology (ET) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) organization supports the Corporate ET functions, providing oversight and control for Technology expenditures. The team provides CFO, P&A and Business Management services to ET function heads and organizations, partnering with the function’s leadership teams to achieve the financial and control objectives related to all facets of Enterprise Technology.
The ET F&BM - Inter Affiliate Services (IAS) Controls Center of Excellence (COE) is a newly formed group within the Enterprise Technology F&BM  organization, responsible to ensure controls are adequately established and monitored for services, outsourced to affiliated entities.
We are seeking a Business Manager to support the execution of the IAS program within ET. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the IAS Program implementation for ET teams across all regions and develop a steady state monitoring process for IAS controls.
The successful candidate will interface closely with the Global IAS Controls team, Risk and Control teams and cross LOB functional groups, LOB functional leads and Regional leads as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure IAS activities are conducted in accordance with the firm wide IAS policy and standards
  • Review ongoing activities impacting IAS requirements and identify potential gaps
  • Review IAS activities via monthly IAS SAPCO reporting and monitor IAS control metrics, open project statistics and trends
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of IAS service inventory
  • Implement steady state monitoring for IAS projects based on Global IAS Controls guidance
  • Ensure technology deliverables have FSLAs and KPIs
  • Engage with local service providers and beneficiaries if necessary to validate services, KPIs, SLA and KPI reporting
  • Disseminate IAS awareness, requirements, roles and responsibilities to service providers and beneficiaries
  • Act as an escalation point for items that require attention and guidance from GT IAS Controls, senior technology management and cross functional teams (Compliance, Legal and Tax)
  • Oversee IAS regulatory deliverables and review audits impacting ET Technology
  • Demonstrate organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities and to manage multiple assignments with conflicting deadlines
  • Sustain effective IAS execution process in accordance with firmwide standards and with consideration of local regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have a broad based understanding of the financial process around expense allocations within the financial systems framework, along with familiarity of the IAS concept. Candidate must possess the ability to summarize information in clear and concise format, with strong written and verbal communication skills. She/he will need to be able navigate across multiple disciplines (Finance, Business Management, Controls, Legal) and bring them together to achieve specific business objectives.
Candidate is expected to:
  • Obtain an understanding of the ET Controls IAS compliance requirements as they relate to the overall IAS program
  • Create a formalized process, understanding cross legal entity allocations and their impact on the IAS scope – recognizing gaps and implementing remediation
  • Run an 18 – 24 month remediation project that analyzes IAS in scope deliverables; facilitate requirements gathering; engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders to collect and understand data & drive the final creation of documentation / requirements to ensure compliance   
  • Provide support for various monthly reporting deliverables
  • Partner with Technology Business Managers to interpret information for monthly business reviews
  • Act as a liaison to various groups including IAS program leads, finance, project managers, etc.
  • Apply critical thinking to various requirements; identify, evaluate and propose solutions


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Finance & Business Management; Financial Services or IT experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of IAS, Migration / transition management & Information Risk or Controls management a plus

  • Proven leadership and management capabilities

  • Track record of establishing and maintaining collaborative cross-regional, cross-organizational relationships to achieve results

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance on policy implementation and controls governance

  • Solid analytical skills to prepare and interpret metrics, management reports, trend analysis etc.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, specifically around sponsor allocations / Legal Entity reporting concepts

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated ability to interact with technical, non-technical, and business members of the organization

  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

  • Working knowledge of Regulatory Requirements & Reporting a plus

  • Project management experience a plus

  • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, application of financial formulas, macros) MS SharePoint, MS PowerPoint and Visio
