J.P.Morgan (Suisse) SA (JPMS) is seeking a Team Leader Business Data Analyst, to join the Onboarding team based in Geneva and provide analysis and support in order to continue to implement operating model improvements that enhance customer experience and deliver ongoing efficiencies within a strong control environment.  The team is looking for an individual who can bring the talent and expertise to support production of Management Information (MI) and the generation of operational insights that enable to the platform to identify and deliver strategic and operational improvements.

This role involves frequent interaction with stakeholders in  support functions both locally and globally in a fast-paced team environment, as well as the opportunity to work on specific strategic projects.  The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Management of a team of Data Analyst
  • Leading development of an efficient MI capability
  • Managing Data Client Analysis
  • Building sustainable reports in order to ensure data quality
  • Building Executive reports to facilitate decisions
  • Supporting and providing precise and accurate information with regards to Client Information and KYC
  • Support Strategic Data Reservoir Program
  • Defining the ‘tobe’ MI plateform for Client Data Analysis
  • Identifying tactical and strategic opportunities to improve quality, timeliness and cost of MI provision
  • Conducting analysis to understand business drivers, drive insights, and identify opportunities to improve results
  • Supporting management by providing timely, accurate information on client information
  • Preparing for regular business reviews with senior management and other committees
  • Coordinating initiatives across regions to bring global consistency in processes, systems and best practices
  • Researching and resolve data issues and answer queries from management and other key stakeholders
  • Escalating and / or resolving team issues; track and measure recurring themes for systemic issues and opportunities
  • Liaising with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Front Office and Tech on certain project Perform other office management tasks as needed

Education and Experience:

  • 10 to 20 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English is essential and any additional language skills would be an advantage
  • Specific industry related experience preferred
  • IT skills (Query, Database, MIS tools, etc…)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular with Excel, Powerpoint, Access
  • Knowledge of Appway would be an advantage

A background in a professional consulting environment preferred
