As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office. Youll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.
Financial Crimes Investigations (FCI) Technology team, a part of CT provides and supports technology solutions for financial crimes investigations portal in Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud domains. The FCI team is seeking strong Java developers who want to join a fast-paced, agile, high-energy team.  The ideal candidate enjoys building and making significant enhancements to applications, and has a strong understanding of designing and building Java applications.

  • 8 plus years of active Java development experience.
  • Strong design and architecture skills.
  • Fast learning, capable of solving complex problems and creating simple solutions.
  • Having experience with different technologies ranging from scripting, Databases, Object-Oriented programming to HTML/JavaScript development.
  • Proactively look to develop, implement and further best practices across the group.
  • Understand and apply technology roadmap and strategy to meet all business and company goals for the portfolio.
  • Involve in production support and development activities for assigned applications and projects.
  • Study, adhere and improve processes to increase application quality, development productivity and effectiveness.
  • Ability in designing, developing, testing, and supporting application modules.
  • Work with the business and technology teams to evaluate requirements, and propose optimal technology solution and delivery approaches.
  • Motivated to work in a highly efficient agile team and having an attitude to be a good team player.

    • Java / J2EE
    • Oracle
    • Spring Framework
    • Hibernate
    • UI Technologies - JSP, HTML, VTL, XSL, JavaScript, AJAX
    • Apache Tomcat or equivalent application containers.
    • Agile software development methodology
    • Development tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Bitbucket/Git, and Crucible
    • Testing frameworks like JUnit and mocking techniques
    • Experience or knowledge in Test Driven Development (TDD)

    Additional skills:


    • Prior experience with Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud or other compliance applications is highly desirable.
    • Prior experience with Nice ACTIMIZE is a major plus, including modules Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS) and Actimize Risk Case Manager (RCM), Actimize plugin development and Actimize services.
    • Debugging, profiling and tuning applications’ performance.
    • Experience or knowledge in Data Visualization tools like ‘QlikView’ is desirable.
    • Auto-deployment tools and Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins) is a plus.
    • Knowledge on Application monitoring tools like AppDynamics is a plus.
    • Knowledge in cloud computing platforms is a plus.
