Global Compliance Training
Global Compliance Training is responsible for identifying, assessing and prioritizing training needs for the development, delivery and reporting of compliance training across the Firm.  Compliance Training coverage includes LOB and Country Compliance, as well as GFCC.  
 
Asia Compliance Education is part of the Core Compliance Function and is responsible for the end to end management of the Regional Compliance continuing education program for Asia Pacific. This involves the development and roll out of training at a global, regional and country or line of business (LOB) specific level through working with subject matter experts, other compliance officers and the business.
 
Position Description
This position offers the opportunity to join an established regional team as a Compliance Training Officer, focusing writing and designing content for online Compliance training modules.  The primary function will be to write content for online Compliance training modules, manage Asia regional training projects and support the team in meeting our stakeholder’s training needs.
 
You will be expected to work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), compliance teams, business and legal functions to provide expertise on training and content delivery.  Your role is critical in the successful execution of the Firms risk based training framework through the development of strong programs and quality content.
 
You will be required to lead projects and manage multiple SME’s to strict timelines.  You must be able to provide advice and direction by way of training alternatives and deliver the best fit for the business needs.  You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to the mandatory governance framework that the Firm has in place for assigned Compliance Training.
 
Responsibilities
  • Write or refresh content for local and regional online training modules. Training content is generally based around local regulations, country or business-specific policy requirements and will entail detailed technical writing
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Conducting the training needs analysis
    • Creating framework documents
    • Partnering with SMEs and other stakeholders in development of the training content
    • Coordinating with local Compliance training teams for development and review
    • Engaging training development vendor (internal or external) for online courses
    • Coordinating BETA testing for regional online courses
    • Working with SME’s on audience identification and training sign off
    • Working with the learning management system team and administrators on the integration and rollout of the training, and associated administrative functions
  • Provide input and review content for global and regional online training modules
  • Robust testing of online modules before roll out with a focus on detail to best enhance the learner experience
  • Design of completed content in PowerPoint for the development of in house modules
  • Partnership with other Compliance Training teams on best practice solutions
  • Providing input into and ongoing maintenance of the Asia Compliance Training Plan
  • Response to queries received via the Team Mailbox
 
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • 3-4 years experience in financial services or adult learning environment
  • Experience in writing technical content such as training content, policies, audit reports
  • Experience in preparing training presentations using PowerPoint
  • Strong stakeholder management with demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders on a single project
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with personnel at all levels
  • Moderate competency in Excel
  • Strong project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Management of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in high pace, ever changing and complex environment
