Overall Role Description
  •  Support the corporate bankers for all client activities (credit analysis, documentation, execution and on-going support on the relationship)
  •  Assist Corporate Bankers in managing existing client relationship and developing new client base
  •  Assume full responsibility for managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting and ongoing management of client relationship
Degrees desired: finance, accounting, economics, business related
Strong PC skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Main Responsibilities
  •  Initial analysis of companies financials for bankers, including projections.
  •  Assisting in preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new revenue for different products (loans, bonds, etc)
  • Working with GCB Middle Office and internal teams in deal execution (including documentation and reporting)
  • Preparing internal approval documents such as credit memos, Approval To Pitch (ATP) memos, Balance Sheet Committee Notes
  • Assisting bankers with account planning and maintaining deal pipeline
  •  Interacting with clients on the operational aspects of deal executions
  • Coordinate with product partners, legal & compliance, operations on a regular basis
  •  Help with industry, and Company credit analysis
  •  Collaborate with the credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests
  •  Preparation of management reports along with local business manager
  • Participation in planning activities and budget
  •  Participate in projects for acquisition financing, syndicated loans, structured finance and derivatives
  • Strong commitment/proactive/initiative
  • Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills, attention to detail
  • Written skills and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently, enthusiastic, highly motivated and with a strong sense of ownership
  • Sense of urgency/ability to work well under pressure
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work with variety of people, including senior corporate bankers, investment bankers, product partners, operations support, credit and senior management
  • Solid understanding and application of in-scope products
  • Basic Knowledge on valuation analytics and modeling techniques. Quickly and intuitively analyzes and correctly interprets data, including financial statements and source documents.  Can detect trends and themes in quantitative analyses and communicate them effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Pitch Pro
  •  Stays Current on Business and Industry Trends
  • Able to Customize Marketing Materials
