Reconciliation Services Overview
Reconciliation Services is responsible for the Reconcilement of General Ledger and internal Demand Deposit accounts for various Lines of Business to ensure the integrity of the firm’s balance sheet.  LOB’s include: Consumer & Community Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Banking and Asset Wealth Management.
 
Job Description:
As a Business Operations Analyst the individual will be responsible for managing change efforts impacting various Reconciliation Services processes and lead/support process improvement initiatives. Individual will perform trend and metric analysis, work with stakeholders to facilitate changes, develop reporting and create presentations, identify potential risks and lead efforts to mitigate related impacts. This position is also responsible for maintaining current process maps and collaborating with line of business owner and controls to create new process maps based on operational needs.  
 
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Have complete understanding and knowledge of the various change events impacting Recon Services, identify potential issues and recommend solutions, work closely with Operations and project teams to ensure timely implementation
  • Develop strong partnership with key stake holders to ensure effective change management, analytical support and facilitate resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Analyze data from different applications related to Recons and share trends, thoughts and recommendations which help progress the business.
  • Have strong hands on knowledge of the various applications and procedures in order to recommend next generation process flows.
  • Own change management testing requirements for Reconciliation Services.
  • Manage technology related issues working with various technology partners and Operations Managers.
  • Create presentations for all levels of management and provide clear, concise, and easy to understand graphics that easily depict the information trying to relay
  • Publication of periodic and ad hoc reports related but not limited to customer experience, business, operations, people, headcount and performance
  • Create and maintain process maps; review processes, identify gaps, provide innovative solutions, and influence process improvements
Qualifications:
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Strong experience in business analysis, reporting of business data,  problem identification, resolution and root cause analysis
  • Excellent written and presentation skills; able to distill complex data sets and present them into understandable business language
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work with multiple levels, functions, and geographies
  • Ability to learn related systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to work in fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efforts
  • Creative problem solver and ability to work heavily with numbers and vast amounts of data
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of concentration, can work independently or with teams
  • Ability to understand and connect business and technology requirements
